As Nigerians hit the streets to celebrate their two-nil victory over Iceland at the ongoing 2018 World Cup, a man has suddenly found fame and became an overnight soothsayer on social media.
On the eve of the Nigeria – Iceland match, Toluwalope Saba, a twitter addict, tweeted a 4-liner saying “Nigeria is going to play Iceland 2-0. At least, that’s what my dream said. I’m not sure who won but the same person scored both goals.”
At first, nobody took him serious following the disappointment Nigerians suffered from the Super Eagles first World Cup campaign against Croatia.
All that changed the moment the match referee blew the whistle to signify full time. Twitter went agog with many praising Tolu for his vision and foresight while a handful believed that it was either luck or sorcery.
Some even took it to the extreme by requesting him to dream again and predict winning lottery digits, likely winner of next presidential election and what their potential future spouses would look like.
To further add to his new found fame, the intermediate guitarist’s twitter account shot up by 10,000 with new followers craving to know more about him.
It would be recalled that Ahmed Musa’s two quick goals in the second half gave Nigeria all the needed three points in the match.
