Fellow Nigerians, Meet Your New Inspector General of Police

As the current Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar set to hand over the baton tomorrow, there are indications that the President will announce Mr. Suleiman Abba as his replacement.
This report is coming on the heel of arrangement just concluded by the Police Council which comprises the 36 state governors as well as chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mr. Mike Mbama Okiro (retired
former IGP).
After a close-door session, the council has unanimously chosen Abba as their consensus candidate for the Police top job.

For the record, Abba is currently the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7.
