SALE OF RAW FOOD (Rice, Beans & Garri) BUSINESS

It is not unusual seeing entrepreneurs such as full time housewives and
traders taking to sale of raw food like rice, beans, garri, corns and
wheat. This is because this line of trade is a thriving business that is yet to be fully utilised in today’s Nigeria.

Unlike other perishable edibles, they can stay for months without
getting spoilt or rotten (in a aerable environment though). It sells
more during weekends, holidays as well as during riot or protest days.
Those are the days workers (especially the working class) are faced with
the reality of starving for not stocking enough foodstuff at home.

QUESTION: To make a success of this kind of business, what exactly do I need?

  1. Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!milk crate

    • Thanks Laraib Malik.

As you rightly thought, it is better to embrace the use of free blogging platform like Bloggers.Com or WordPress.

Gather your thoughts together and start something, just anything ranging from your feelings, breaking news, features to comic relief until you find your true niche.

Let me know how far you have gone from time to time.
