“Why I Named Ikeja Millennium Housing Estate After Emeka Anyaoku” – Governor Fashola

During the official commissioning of the
newly-constructed Ikeja Millennium Housing Estate, Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola has explained why he named it after former
Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.
According to him, he named the 76-unit four-bedroom duplexes located on Muiz
Banire Street, GRA Ikeja, after Anyaoku because the former Commonwealth
Secretary General had contributed tremendously to the development of
Lagos State.
