Ijora PHCN Service Station Is On FIRE

Pandemonium erupted this afternoon when the Ijora Olopa service station of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) suddenly went up in flames.

Although the cause of the fire was not immediately known, bystanders and some workers who spoke on condition of anonymity said it was a result of electrical spark from one of their departments.

It would be recalled that the Ijora Olopa Station was the fomer headquarters when it was formerly Nepa.

As at the time of reporting, fire fighters and security agents have been sent forin order to restore sanity to the area
