The minister posted the photos on her
Facebook page showing the state of her own village in Akili, Anambra
State. The flood, which began in September after the Lagdo Dam in Northern Cameroon broke, has displaced over 50, 000 people and killed at least one hundred so far!

President Jonathan made an emergency
broadcast this morning where he directed the release of billions of
Naira to several flood-raved states in Nigeria. Aliko Dangote and others have also donated to flood victims. (Click for more pictures)
