After about five months of delay following the completion of their 2010/2011
second semester  examination, students of the Lagos State University
External System (LASUES) are possibly expected to commence the new academic session in late October / earlyNovember.
According to sources on the main campus in Ojo, the delay was due to alleged
irregularities and financial improprieties bedeviling the system and
transition in the school.
Secondly, since students on the main campus are presently writing exams, it is assumed that the school authorities could possibly waiting for its completion in early October before shifting attention to part time study.

Besides, it is also believed that the tuition fee might experience a marginal increase.

It is quite disheartening to note that that most LASU part time students could be compelled to spend 6 – 8 years of academic session. Isn’t it even possible that some
employers might think those taking frequent excuse to run off before close of work to study are playing pranks?
What do you think?
