FUNKE AKINDELE-OLOYEDE PLANS TV PROGRAMME ON HIV/AIDS

Ace Nollywood star, Funke Akindele-Oloyede (popularly called ‘Jennifer’) who won African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress
in a Leading role (2009) has bared her mind on why she wants to start up a television programme on HIV/AIDS

According to her, 

“I have a friend who had HIV/AIDS and died of it. The person couldn’t
open up because of the fear of stigmatisation. If the person had opened
up in time, we might have been able to save her life.”
